SCRYING FOR BEGINNERS
Tapping Into the Supersensory Powers of Your Subconscious

This book covers the entire scope of scrying in all its varied forms.

For practical purposes I define scrying as the deliberate perception of distant or hidden matters by transcendent means through the metaphors of the human senses.

By this extended definition, deliberately induced clairaudience is as much an act of scrying as deliberate crystal gazing. The same underlying mechanism is at work in both cases. Information is perceived by a transcendent part of the mind, then is cast into the form of sense impressions in order to render it intelligible to human consciousness.

The book covers conventional forms of scrying such as crystal and water gazing, scrying into mirrors and jewels, and scrying tea leaves, but also examines methods of obtaining remote intelligence that are not usually classed as scrying such as the Ouija Board, shell hearing, dowsing, the pendulum, deliberately induced dream visions, automatic writing and automatic speaking.

In addition, the ancient scrying methods of Nostradamus and Edward Kelley, two of the most famous seers in history, are reconstructed based upon the available information. Very little has ever been written on this subject, because the actual methods used by these seers are imperfectly understood.

Available as a free mail order offer with the purchase of the book is a special scrying pattern of my original design that may be used with either a small pointer or a pendulum, by those who wish to do practical experiments in this ancient art.
