The Ravener is a collection of six
stories that tell the extraordinary adventures of Elizabethan
magician Doctor John Dee, advisor to Queen Elizabeth the First, and his
companion the alchemist and
necromancer, Edward Kelley, as the two are called upon to solve crimes
of an uncanny nature. Both men are no strangers to
the occult, but they encounter weird things that test their courage and
skills in magic to the utmost. Not even the Enochian angels can protect
