The 13 Gates of the Necronomicon is both
a sourcebook and a workbook on Necronomicon magic. All of the passages
in Lovecraft's writings that pertain to the occult and have practical
uses in magic have been compiled under thirteen headings, corresponding
with thirteen star gates, one for each of the zodiacal constellations
in the heavens. Most people don't realize that there are actually
thirteen constellations on the celestial band of the zodiac, not
twelve. This book has many
unique features, not the least of which is the beautiful illustrations
of the thirteen gates and thirteen keys, done by my wife, Jenny.
The star gates are activated by sigils of the stars in each
constellation that form its pillars, when the moon passes between them.
The sigils are composed using my Power Glyph system of sigil making.
